About Us
Hi there! We are Jon, Ashley, Brandon, and Abigail. In our family, we are passionate about our faith, our family, and… fun! Jon and Ashley started dating in high school and were married at 19 and 20. We have been exploring the world for the past 11 years! When we were blessed with children, we found new adventures to experience together as a now family of four. Here are quick tidbits about each of us:
- Jon is a physical therapist, fun dad, and super sweet husband. He loves playing and watching pretty much any sport imaginable and putting buffalo sauce on anything. He acts like a very mature, responsible kid most of the time!
- Ashley is a stay-at-home mom. She absolutely loves that her days are full of zoo visits, park exploring, and playing 20 rounds of board games. She is crazy about chocolate, football, and spending lots of time with both sets of extended family.
- Brandon is just an absolute gift to our family. He is thoughtful, quiet, mature, but also driven and competitive. He gives at least 100 hugs a day and could play sports 24/7.
- Abigail is a bundle of personality and joy. While the rest of us are enthralled in a competitive game of Skip-Bo, you can often find her off in her own world skipping and twirling in circles around us. She loves dresses, princesses, and pretending… sometimes she confuses even herself what is reality and what is the extensive make-believe world she has thought up!
We are very big on the concept of spending your money on purpose. When we look back at our marriage and lives, our absolute best memories are when we have been able to extravagantly bless others and when we have experienced something new together as a family. So in lieu of fancy cars, extravagant Christmases, and big homes, years ago we decided to carefully use our finances to:
1. Give generously to others.
2. Experience new adventures together to strengthen our family. Depending on the week, this takes on many different forms. We love cheering on our sports teams, trying new foods and activities, serving at our church, and (as you may have guessed by now) TRAVELING!
While exploring new destinations together and gaining the courage to try something completely new, our family has made countless memories together while traveling. We are excited to share some of these with you and hopefully encourage your family to go off on a new adventure of your own!
